After some change of events (see my blog for details) the family headed down to Portland on the amtrack. SUPER COOL AND WE ALL LOVE TRAINS NOW! Last night after my conference sessions ended we headed out to the Vegetarin House in Chinatown.

This place was pretty sweet for a veg head as myself, we were able to get "chicken" chow mein, "crab" ragoon, and tofu + "meat" hotpot. Basically the hot pot had fake shrimp, squid, chicken, pork, and beef. I've never eaten so much FAKE MEAT. I must say it was a pretty accurate replica of the original chinese items. I highly recommend this place for some vegheads and those wanting to skip the meat.

Tonight we are going to hit up the rouge brewery (YES!) which will be some good pub food and beer.
